About Us

History

ACHE of Maryland was founded in 1973 as a forum for professional development and interchange among senior-level health care executives. Since that time, the Association has expanded it’s membership to all those involved in health care related professions, including lawyers, accountants, consultants and students in health care related degree programs.

Mission Statement

To develop a network facilitating communication and an active support system; to encourage an exchange of information among our members through educational programs; to encourage membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives; and to enhance our member’s professional life and career.

Vision Statement

To be the healthcare professional organization of choice in Maryland for executives from the entire healthcare spectrum.

Values Statement

The Board of Directors promotes the following Values of ACHE of Maryland and ACHE to our membership and the healthcare community at large:

Our Commitment to American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)

ACHE of Maryland is an independent and affiliated chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a professional society for healthcare executives.
